Lydia A. R. Cochran

Hello! Welcome to my web page!
Move mouse over puppy to see me.

I was born in Heidelberg, West Germany many years ago. I grew up as an Army brat, living in many different places, including Europe. I met my husband, Jeff, here in Bloomington after high school and I have lived here ever since.

I have a great family! It consists of my husband and I, a daughter and son-in-law, two sons, and a granddaughter. Then there are the pets. We have two dogs, a cat, an iguana, many frogs, and lots of fish.

As for hobbies, I enjoy reading, visiting museums and zoos, and traveling with my family. I especially like traveling to Alaska. Summer or Winter, there is always something to do in Alaska. My parents live in Wasilla and it is nice to visit with them, no matter the season.

Along with being a wife and mother, I am the Manager of IT Training and Software Services at Heartland Community College (HCC). Before working in IT, I was a part-time Psychology instructor at HCC. I have been with HCC since 1999 and have enjoyed watching the college grow every semester.
